Applications are invited for the following posts to be filled up under the time bound research project entitled “Studies on phthalate compounds on male reproductive system of rat” sponsored by ICMR, “Environmental and occupational exposure and male reproductive function” sponsored by DST and other projects at National Institute of Occupational Health, Ahmedabad.
The posts are purely temporary and coterminus with the project:-
Senior Research Fellow (Two) One for DST project One for ICMR Adhoc project
14000/ + 15% HRA
Essential MSc in Zoology / Biochemistry/ Molecular Biology/ Toxicology/Biotechnology or other related subjects with good academic record and TWO years research experience
Desirable Experience in the field of either reproductive biology/ Animal experimentation/molecular biology/ and analytical skill to determine pesticide residue/ metals.
To collect history, biological samples
To carry out laboratory work related to semen analysis/ gene polymorphism,
Computation of data and report writing
Junior Research Fellow * (One) For DST project
12000 + 15% HRA
Essential MSc in Zoology / Biochemistry / Molecular Biology/ Toxicology/Biotechnology or other related subjects with good academic record and passed the National written test like UGC-CSIR NET, ICMR-JRF
Desirable: Experience in the field of either reproductive and molecular biology
To collect history, biological samples
To carry out laboratory work related to semen analysis/ gene polymorphism,
Computation of data and report writing
Research Assistant (Two) for ICMR Adhoc projects
9850/- Fixed
