Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering Laboratory (MB&GE):

Applications are invited for the Junior Research Fellow (JRF) [02 posts] positions at Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering Laboratory Section from eligible candidates with outstanding academic records.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF) - 2 Posts


Pay Scale + Grade Pay(Rs) :Rs.12,000/- per month consolidated

Job Profile :

For Post-1:
Candidate should have experience in plant physiological and biochemical analysis, binary vector construction, Plant transformation, Expression and protein interaction studies by sqRT-PCR/RT-PCR and yeast two-hybrid systems.
For Post-2
Candidate should have to work for development of transgenic sugarcane through nuclear and chloroplast transformation. Candidate will have to work right from collection of material, callus development, vector construction, plasmid isolation, transformation and molecular analysis.
Qualification :

M.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Botany/ Biochemistry/ Agriculture Biotechnology from any reputed University

Experience:

Freshers are eligible to apply. However, preference will be given to those having experience/ project work done in relevant area supported by thesis/ research publications.
