Senior Research Fellow – 5 Posts
National Initiative on Climate Resilient Agriculture (NICRA) of Central Research Institute for Dry land Agriculture (CRIDA), Hyderabad funded project on “Community Driven Climate Resilient Hill Agriculture in Village Ecosystems of North West Himalayas (Uttarakhand)”.
Out of Five SRFs, Two will be placed in Uttarakhand Seva Nidhi Paryavaran Shiksha Sansthan, Almora, Two in School of Environment and Natural Resources, Doon University and one in GB Pant institute of Himalayan Environment and Development (GBPIHED), Garhwal Unit (Srinagar).
Minimum Qualification: 1st class M.Sc. in Environmental Science/ Agricultural Sciences/ Forestry/Botany and related disciplines.
Desirable Qualifications: Experience in soil and plant analysis and field work relevant to the project. Extensive travel and stay with village communities, particularly women, in hill areas is mandatory. Female candidates are encouraged to apply.
Emoluments; Rs 16,000/-pm +HRA (10%) for first two years and Rs 18000/pm +HRA (10%) for third year.
Age: less than 35 years for men and 40 years for women.
Duration: 3 years.
