VACANCY FOR THE POST OF SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW IN THE DEPARTEMNT OF NANOBIOTECHNOLOGY
Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the following post in the DBT funded project Emphasizing on RNA Chemistry and its application in tumor biology, Project No: BT/PR2285/MED/31/128/2011 to be implemented at the Department of Nanobiotechnology, Vision Research Foundation by the Investigators- Dr. J.Narayanan (Principal Investigator, (VRF Sankara Nethralaya), and Dr. S. Krishnakumar (Co-PI, HOD-Pathology), Vision Research Foundation, Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai- 600 006.
The post is purely temporary for a period of 3 years. There may be opportunity for the bright candidates to enroll in to PhD program either in National University/International University.
Senior Research Fellow
Qualification:
*M.Sc Biochemistry/Biotechnology with 2 years (compulsory) research experience (at least one publication in RNA biology) with animal handling and RNA biology
M.E / M.Tech Biotechnology with research experience (animal handling and RNA biology -Publications desirable)
Salary: 18,000 + 30%HRA
