Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (2 positions)
Pay scale: (Rs. 16000+ 20% HRA for 1st& 2nd years; Rs. 18000+ 20% HRA for 3rd, 4th& 5th Years)Duration: 5 years (the appointment is co-terminus with the project)Essential Qualification:1. M.Sc in Botany/Life Science/Plant molecular biology/Biotechnology2. NET (JRF)(Non-NET (JRF) candidates may be appointed @Rs. 12,000/- + 20% HRA p.m.)

Research Scientist 'B' (1 position)
Pay scale: (Pay Band 3 + Grade Pay 5400+ Allowances as applicable)Duration: 5 years (the appointment is co-terminus with the project)Essential Qualification: Ph.D in Botany/EcologyDesirable: Post doctoral research experience with technical expertise in Ecological Niche Modelling and other modeling techniques, macro propagation and population survey.
Research Assistants (RA) (2 positions – One at Shillong and One in Delhi)
Pay scale: (Rs. 12000/- PM (Fixed) for 1st& 2nd Year & Rs. 14000/- PM for 3rd, 4th& 5th Year)Duration: 5 years (the appointment is co-terminus with the project)Essential Qualification: Graduate with diploma/certificate in computer applications.Desirable: At least 2 years of experience in data handling and management in the field of research/ management/coordination work.
