Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in the research project funded by SERB, Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi, Government of India at the Department of Plant Breeding & Genetics, AC&RI, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Madurai, Tamil Nadu.
The details of requirement are as given below:
Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Essential qualification: B.Tech/M.Sc./M.Phil. in Agriculture/Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Genetic Engineering/Life Sciences from recognized University.
Preferred qualification NET/GATE or previous research experience in plant tissue culture, plant transformation and molecular biology techniques is desirable
Salary As per SERB, DST norms
Project title ‘Engineering transcription factors for drought tolerance in Rice’
Duration of the project: Three years. The selected candidate should be willing to work at both Madurai and Coimbatore campus of TNAU, for which TA/DA will be provided.
