No. 02/BIC-ICMR/Phase-II/2012-13 

The following posts will be filled up on purely temporary basis under the project entited “Second phase of Task Force Biomedical Informatics Centre of ICMR“ under Dr. S.S. Das, Scientist ‘D’ of this Institute.

01. Scientist II 01 No.

Essential : Ph.D. degree in Life Sciences from a recognized university along with a minimum of 2 years of research experience in Bioinformatics as evidenced by publications in the peer reviewed journals.

OR

Ph.D. degree in Bioinformatics from a recognized university.

Desirable :

  1. Through knowledge about in silico genome analysis and comparative genomics; knowledge of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), Microarray Data Analysis and System Biology will be advantageous.

  2. Additional Postdoctoral research experience in relevant subjects from recognized institutions.

Rs. 41,396/- p.m. plus 30% H.R.A

Below40 years

02. Research Assistant 01 No.

Essential : First Class M.Sc./M.Tech. in Bioinformatics or Computer Science or MCA from a recognized University with commendable knowledge of computer programming (Perl/Python/Java).

Desirable : Experience in database and web-server development and different bioinformatics tools and techniques. Working knowledge in System Administration, Hardware and Networking.

Rs. 22,120/- p.m. (fixed)

Below 28 years

N.B. Age is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PH Candidates as per Govt. of India Rules.

Candidates fulfilling the above criteria may report to the Administrative Officer, alongwith Bio-data showing academic record from Matriculation onward, experience, recent passport size photograph and attested copies of relevant certificates, for the interview as per details given below :-
