The following posts will be filled up on purely temporary basis under the project entited “Second phase of Task Force Biomedical Informatics Centre of ICMR“ under Dr. S.S. Das, Scientist ‘D’ of this Institute.
01. Scientist I 01 No.
Essential: First Class M.Sc. in Bioinformatics/Molecular Biology/Biophysics/Biochemistry with 2 years of research experience in the field of Bioinformatics from a reputed institution and commendable knowledge about different bioinformatics tools and techniques, computer programming, structural bioinformatics and statistical analysis.
Desirable : Publications in peer reviewed journals in the field of Bioinformatics.
The incumbent will be required to assist Dr. S.S. Das, Principal Investigator, Biomedical Informatics Center for maintaining and extending the activities of the Centre. She/He would carry out research on homology modeling of microbial and host proteins, protein-protein and protein-ligand interactions and drug designing. Scientist I should assist other scientists and research scholars of the host institute and regional medical colleges in implementing and using bioinformatics tools for research activities by arranging workshops, short courses etc.
Rs. 33,306/- p.m. plus 30% H.R.A
