Applications are invited for purely project based temporary positions of Junior/Senior Research Fellow/Research Associate (03 Nos) and Field Assistant (01 No) in the following externally funded projects. Candidates having appropriate qualification in relevant Subject/Specialization with good academic records and experience may apply.

Project No- 2- “Status assessment of Endemic, Threatened and High value medicinal plants of Cold Desert Areas in Indian Himalayan Region”, CSIR sponsored Project, PI- Dr. K. Chandra Sekar

2. JRF/SRF/RA (01 No.)

JRF: Rs. 16,000/- per month + HRA

SRF: Rs. 18,000/- per month + HRA

RA: Rs. 22,000/- per month (fixed)

For JRF: Masters Degree in Botany/ Plant Sciences or equivalent degree with minimum 55% marks and qualified NET conducted by CSIR

For SRF: Masters Degree in Botany/ Plant Sciences with minimum 60% marks or equivalent degree and at least two years of Post-M.Sc. research experience as evidenced from published papers in standard refereed journals.

For RA: Doctorate degree or equivalent in Botany/ Plant Sciences with consistently good academic record along with publications.

1. Specialization in plant taxonomy, Ecology and Forestry.

2. Experience of field research in Indian Himalayan Region.

To conduct field survey in cold desert areas of Indian Himalayan Region.
