The Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar has invited applications for admission to full time PhD course in various subjects through (i) Research Entrance Test (RET) and (ii) Direct Admission (without appearing in RET)

Microbiology

Eligibility

A candidate holding Master Degree or its equivalent examination from any recognised University / Institution with at least 55% marks in the main subject or in an allied subject is eligible for the Research Entrance Test (RET) and registration for PhD Degree.

Note:

1. There shall be relaxation of 5% marks for SC / ST / PWD in the restriction of minimum marks.

2. Candidate must check carefully and ensure that he / she fulfils the minimum eligibility mentioned in the Information Brochure / Rules & Regulations before submitting the application. If the candidate's eligibility is found incomplete / incorrect at any stage during admission process and after admission, his/her admission will be cancelled for which he / she will solely be responsible.

How to apply:

Application form, Information Brochure and Rules & Regulation for Research Entrance Test (RET) / Direct Admission (RET Exempted) for admission to PhD programme can be obtained from the office of Registrar, Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar by paying Rs. 1000/- in cash or by sending a demand draft of Rs. 1050/- to Registrar, Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar. The demand draft should be in favour of "Registrar, Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya'' payable at Haridwar.

Completely filled in application form for entrance test / Direct Admission shall be submitted to the office of Registrar, Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar. Application form Downloaded from website will be accepted along with demand draft of Rs. 1000/-.

10:00 am to 12:00 Noon:

Sanskrit, Vedic Literature, Philosophy, English, Hindi Literature, Human Consciousness and Yogic Science, Ancient Indian History Culture & Archaeology, Psychology, Management.

02:00 pm to 04:00 pm:

Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, Zoology, Environmental Science, Botany, Microbiology.
