Applications are invited from suitable candidates for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on the following project sponsored by Department of Science and Technology (DST), under the supervision of Dr. K. Naga Mohan, Department of Biological Sciences, BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad campus.

1. Title of the project: Development of a cost-effective membrane and DNA chip-based detection of mutations with multiple drug-resistance tuberculosis.

Duration of the project 2 years

b Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience PG degree holders with NET qualification receive Rs. 20,800/month (16,000 + 30% HRA)

Eligibility requirements M.Sc. in Molecular biology, genetics biotechnology, life sciences, or a related discipline with at least 70% marks. Candidates with hands-on experience in basic molecular biology techniques, those with valid NET/GATE scores and with interest in pursuing research career are given preference*.

*Selected candidate may be permitted to register for Ph.D programme of BITS, Pilani, subject to the fulfillment of the requirements.
