Applications on the prescribed form are invited for the enrolment of Ph.D programme in the following departments for the academic session starting from 1st January, 2014:
Anaesthesia, Anatomy, Biochemistry, Cardiology, Cytology, Community Medicine, Dermatology, Endocrinology, ENT, Experimental Medicine & Biotechnology, Forensic Medicine, Gastroenterology, Hematology, Hepatology, Histopathology, Immunopathology, Medical Microbiology, Nephrology, Nuclear Medicine, Neurology, Neurosurgery, National Institute of Nursing Education (NINE), Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Obst. & Gynae, Psychiatry (Cl. Psychology), Pediatrics, Pediatrics Surgery, Parasitology, Pharmacology, Radio-diagnosis, Radiotherapy, Transfusion Medicine, Urology, Virology.
INCOMPLETE APPLICATION WILL NOT BE ENTERTAINED AND NO CORRESPONDENCE WILL BE MADE IN THIS REGARD.
Note : Application form and Challan form will be available till 02.11.2013 upto 23:59 Hrs only.
GENERAL INFORMATION
The candidate is required to download the Application Form/Challan Form from the PGI website i.e. http://pgimer.edu.in. The candidate should take out a print of a challan form (in triplicate) and deposit the required application fee in any branch of State Bank of India. The Challan form is required to be filled up in the name of Director, PGIMER, Chandigarh (Examination) in the Power Jyoti Account No. 32211613319 and those candidates who have SBI account can also pay their fee through i-collect service of SBI and i-collect Account No. is 32222954695. In that case the INB reference No. will have to be mentioned instead of Challan No. in the application form.
The candidates are advised to retain one copy of Challan for future use. The amount of fee to be paid is as under:
For SC/ST category - Rs. 800/-
For all other categories - Rs. 1000/-
(The candidates should write his/her Name, Address, contact number and course name in which he/she apply, on the back side of Challan form).
The candidate should fill all the fields of the application form and no field should be left blank. The application dully filled in complete in all respect, should be send by Speed Post/Registered Post to Registrar PGI, Chandigarh on or before 04.11.2013 up to 4 PM along with a copy of challan fee and attested copies of certificates/testimonials.
Note:-
Candidate applying for more than one subject is required to submit separate application complete in all respect.
The Tentative Date Of Entrance Examination is 06.12.2013 At 09.00 AM in Chuttani Block (Research Block-B), PGIMER, Chandigarh.
Note:
i. The Prospectus/Application Form/Challan Form is available only on PGI website.
ii. The dates for registration of Application Form from 14.10.2013 to 02.11.2013 (23.59 Hrs).
iii. The last date of receipt of Applications/deposit of fee is 04.11.2013 (upto 4.00 PM).
iv. It is in the interest of the candidate to send the application through Registered/Speed Post.
v. The fee once paid will not be refunded.
