Walk-in-interview for the posts of SRFs (Unreserved)

Division of Genetics, IARI, New Delhi intends to recruit two posts of Senior Research Fellow in the DBT funded projects purely on contractual basis (as indicated below). The interview will be held on 4th August 2014 at 10.00 AM in Technology Cell, Division of Genetics, IARI, New Delhi 110 012.

1 Senior Research Fellow(SRF) in

DBT Funded projects “Development of  biotic stress resistance in  rice through marker assisted breeding

Two

Rs. 12000 + 30% HRA for Masters degree in Basic Science with NET qualification for lectureship

OR

Rs.14000 + 30% HRA for Masters degree in Basic Science with NET and 2 years of experience

OR

Rs. 16000 + 30% HRA for Masters degree in Basic Science with NET (JRF)

M.Sc. in Genetics/ Plant Breeding/ Biotechnology/Life Sciences.

Experience

In handling molecular markers.

Desirable:

Experience in handling rice crop.

Terms and condition

(i) Age limit: Maximum age is 35 years for SRF and 40 years for RA (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC)
(ii) The posts are purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis initially up to September 2014, or till the termination of the project which-ever is earlier.
(iii) The candidate shall not claim regular appointment at this Institute, as the post is co-terminus with the project.
(iv) The interview of eligible candidates will be held on 4th August, 2014.

(vi) The candidates will have to compulsorily bring the filled in application form (as per the format annexed), all the original certificates from matriculation onwards, date of birth certificate, NET/equivalent certificate, M.Sc/Ph.D. certificate either original or provisional and one set of the self-attested photocopies of all the required certificates from matriculation onwards and an attested copy of recent passport size photograph pasted onto the application form
(vii) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
(viii) Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the interview.
(ix) Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or termination. (x) The candidates are required to submit the application in at the time of interview as per the format annexed along with the declaration The candidate intending to visit for interview, if any of his near or distant relative is an employee of the ICAR/IARI, have to declare his/her name, designation, nature of duties, relationship in writing so as to reach AO Division of Genetics. All the other candidates are also required compulsorily to furnish the declaration duly signed in the format annexed and submit on the date of interview.
