  3. Ecology and Molecular biology both cover an important part of NET.. Ecology was less in Paper I bt there were no. of questions in Paper II..
    So these are topic of concern always..

  4. Ecology was always an important part...but I also felt this time developmental biology was predominant...questions related to mutagens affecting the polarisation of embryos etc...

  5. I really felt that the pattern of questions changed a lot this time. It was not that easy as it was in last 2 times. I really enjoyed NET this time.....

    I felt that there was more emphasis on botany and physiology rather than molecular biology and biochemistry.Ecology part was also very much concentrated.

  9. This time paper pattern was totally different form last 5-6 times...it was not balance according to csir net syllabus....
    in part a compuer questions were less..maths was little bit more...In part b biochem,cell bio,and mol bio was very less...
    this time they just want to judge memory not concept....
    so this paper seems hard

  10. This time CSIR paper was some what different than previous one. it is hard for those whose subject was biotech. In second paper question was asked more from Botany. it is not balanced paper.this time question has come from Plant biotech, botany, devlopmental biology, ecology. and very less from mol. bio, biochem,etc. Even in some question they have mixed biotechnology and botany.

  13. I FELT 20 JUNE 2010 NET EXAM, THIS EXAM WAS NOT VERY TYPICAL FOR BIOTECH STUDENT SPECTIALLY PAPER I , MOSTLY QUESTION WERE ASKING BIOCHEMISTRY, MOL BIOLOGY , ECOLOGY & GENETICS AND TOUCHES TO ALL SUBJECT SLIGHTLY SO WE COULD NOT SAY THIS PART IS IMPORTANT OR NOT I ENJOYED PAPER I .........

  15. I felt paper I was quite easy but paper II was tough. there were more question on botany and ecology in paper II.

  16. Considering the practise session for 20 papers discussion, 25-30 questions appeared in the PaperI, part A and B.

    Due to the discussion on PaperII, We were able to solve maximum answers this time.. I suggest to the csir preparing students, to practise the test series and coaching for CSIR.. Best luck for Dec. 2010..Thanks Raj sir and Nanda Mam..

Well....d paper was good for ppl havin background of Botany....coz most of d questions in both paper I and II was from pure botany and plant physiology.....sum of my frds said that paper was prepared from BHU this time .....newys conclusion is dat it was nt good 4 Biotech ppl....coverin least Genetics Molbio RDT etc.

    helpBIOTECH Practice Tests conducted 6 weeks before CSIR JRF Exam on Sundays and only conducted in Hyderabad right now.

    Next helpBIOCH CSIR JRF Practice Tests start from 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th, December 5th and 12th.

    Wait for our notification and register. Get practice for CSIR JRF Exam.
