2. Junior Research Fellow/Sr. Research Fellow (01)
Essential Qualifications
JRF: First class Masters degree in Plant physiology/Botany/ Environmental science
SRF: As above + 2 years research experience
Desirable Experience of handing Porometer/Photosynth esis System/Water Potential System, etc.
Project In-house project “Developing sacred landscape model for ecorestoration and biodiversity conservation in the Central Himalayan region” (Work area Lohaghat - Champawat district)
3. Junior Research Fellow (02)
Essential Qualifications First class Masters degree in Plant Sciences/Botany/ Biotechnology
Desirable Conduct intensive research (Field and Lab)
Assessment of genetic variability using molecular tools/ monitoring of population dynamics in selected taxa and developing propagation protocols.
Project Experience of DBT sponsored project: “Creating a Genomics platform for Apple research in India”
4. Technical Assistant (01)
Essential Qualifications Post Graduate in Plant Sciences.
Desirable Assist researchers in field data collection and maintenance of accessions.

5. Programme Consultant (01)
Essential Qualifications Masters degree with Min.55% in Biological/ Environmental/Social Science. Good communication skills (oral & written) are essential.
Desirable Minimum 10 years experience in capacity building, demonstration and dissemination of technology packages in the Himalayan region.
Working knowledge of computers including Hindi and English typing, Preference will be given to candidates with Ph.D. and working experience in the Himalayan region on livelihood related activities/Agriculture/Horticulture/vegetable/ Livestock, related areas and community based work. Proficiency in regional dialects and Hindi would be an added advantage.
Project In-house project “Capacity building for entrepreneurship development and self employment in the Himalayan Region” . Initially for one year, extendable for three years on performance basis.
The responsibilities would be result oriented; extensive field work and travel will be required.

Age Limit: Sr. No. 1: 32 years; Sr. No. 2: 28/32, Sr. No. 3 & 4: 28 years & Sr. No. 5: 50 years, Relaxation for SC/ST/Women/PH and OBC as per Govt. norms.

Emoluments: Sr. No. 1: Rs. 14,900/- fixed; Sr. No. 2: Rs. 12,000/14,000 fixed + H.R.A. ; Sr. No. 3: Rs. 12,000/- fixed + HRA; Sr. No. 4: Rs. 7000/- fixed and for Sr. No. 5: Rs. 20,000/- to 25,000/- fixed + HRA (higher emoluments can be considered in case of exceptionally experienced/qualified individual in respect of Sr. No. 5 only). Other conditions: Generally DST/CSIR norms would be applicable.
