Walk-in-Interview for Research Associates and Senior Research Fellows
Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture (CRIDA), Hyderabad requires Research Associates and Senior Research Fellows in the following fields to work in a newly initiated project on National Initiative on Climate Resilient Agriculture (NICRA). Eligible and desirous candidates fulfilling all the requirements should bring their application giving full details of academic records and experience along with original and attested copies of documents related to age, qualifications and experience etc. and a passport size photograph for a Walk-in-Interview to be held on January 11-12, 2011 at 11.00 AM at CRIDA Campus, Santoshnagar, Hyderabad 500 059.

Senior Research Fellow (25 Nos.)
Qualifications Post Graduation in any one of the following disciplines: Agronomy, Soil Science, Horticulture, Soil and Water Conservation Engineering, Agrometeorology/Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, Agricultural Physics, Farm Machinery and Power, Agricultural Extension, Environmental Sciences, Life Sciences, Plant Physiology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Agricultural Economics, Entomology, Plant Pathology, Geo-Informatics (GIS) and Remote Sensing, Forestry/Agroforestry, Water Resources Engineering, Irrigation & Drainage Engineering, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering
Emoluments per month Rs.16,000/- plus 30% HRA for 1st and 2nd year Rs.18,000/- plus 30% HRA for 3rd year

Qualifications Masters Degree in the relevant subject with 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average with at least 2 years of experience in any one of the disciplines referred above at Sl.No.1.
Doctoral Degree in any one of the disciplines referred above at Sl.No.1. Rs.24,000/- plus 30% HRA
Emoluments per month Rs.23,000/- plus 30% HRA
Note: Candidates with Masters/ Doctoral degree in Agriculture or any related basic sciences can attend the interview. Knowledge of computers is essential.
One post of RA and one SRF are for the Monitoring Cell at Natural Resources Management Division, Indian Council of Agricultural Research, Krishi Anusandhan Bhawan II, Pusa, New Delhi 110 012 under Deputy Director General (NRM). Candidates with Post Graduate Degree in Agriculture with Computer knowledge may attend Walk-in-Interview on same dates and time in the office of the DDG (NRM).
Terms & Conditions
Age Limit : For SRF : 35 years for men : 40 years for women
For RAs : 40 years for men : 45 years for women
Duration : The posts are purely temporary and the appointment shall be co-terminus with the project.
TA/DA : No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
