Applications are invited for award of one Junior Research Fellowship (SC Female categories) on a consolidated fellowship of Rs. 12,000/- pm in the project “Programme Mode Support in Agricultural Biotechnology, Phase- II ”, sub
project entitled “Genetic Enhancement of aromatic rice landraces through molecular breeding to develop high yielding, idea plant type, blast resistance and better quality aromatic rice varieties for wider adoptability by farmers” under the
Coordinatorship Dr. Anil Kumar, Co-Coordinatorship Dr. Sandeep Arora and PIship Dr. J Kumar. The JRF position is reserved for SC Female category candidate. In case candidates form the designated category is not available then post shall be filled by general category candidates.
The fellowship is purely temporary and may continue till the duration of the project or maximum three years which ever is earlier. The appointment shall be given on six monthly review basis.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION
Applicant possessing M.Sc. / M.Sc. (Ag.) degree in Genetic and Plant Breeding/ Plant Pathology/ Agricultural Botany/ Biotechnology with working experience on Molecular Markers in Crop Improvement.
Candidates possessing the above qualifications may submit their application on plain paper in the following format to the undersigned latest 25.04.2014 the interviews will be held on 26.04.2014 at 11.00 AM in the office of the undersigned. No separate letter for interview will be issued or any TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
