Applications are invited in plain paper along with detail resume and all testimonials duly attested for the post of two(2) Junior Research Fellow funded by SERB (DST) for the project entitled “Identification, Culture Isolation and Molecular Characterization of Wood rotting fungi of Mizoram” under the supervision of Dr. John Zothanzama Sailo, Principal Investigator in the Department of Environmental Science, Mizoram University. Candidates are requested to appear in a Walk-in interview along with their application on 26th August, 2014 at 1:00 PM in the Head’s Chamber, Department of Environmental Science, Mizoram University, Aizawl – 796004.
Qualification: M.Sc. in Environmental Science/Biotechnology/Botany subject with at least 55% marks from a UGC recognized University
Fellowship: For NET qualified students: The fellowship grant will be Rs.14,000/-+ 10%
HRA for first two years and Rs.18,000/- +10% HRA for third year as per DST Guidelines.
Age limit: Upper age limit for JRF: 28 years which is relaxable upto 5 years in the case of
candidates belonging to ST/SC, Physically Handicapped and 3 years for OBC candidates.
Please Note: No TA/DA will be provided for candidates appearing for the interview
